Location Change for Frozen Food Fundraiser Pick-up

Thank you to everyone that ordered from our frozen food sale. The pick-up location has been changed. Pick up will still be this Thursday, May 17th at 6:00pm at the Forest Hills field concession stand. If you will be there for a game, please bring a cooler with ice to keep your items fresh. Please check your order before you leave, the delivery driver has extra product, in case their is anything wrong. There is no way to fix the order after our delivery time.

We are in need of a couple of volunteers to unload the truck at 5:30 and to check orders. Please contact me if you are able to help!!

* T-Ball Registration is Still Open *

* Registration closed on March 17 for all other levels *

T-Ball sessions will run from 1pm until 3pm each Saturday.  Our final day will be Saturday June 30th.  We will NOT be having a T-Ball session Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday May 26th).  All sessions will take place at the Westinghouse Recreation Fields on Greensburg Pike.  In the event of weather cancellations you will be notified via e-mail no less than 2 hours before the session starts.

T-Ballers will be given a reversal FHCBA Baseball Jersey and an FH ball cap.  Children should wear baseball pants or sweat pants to protect their legs.  We have batting helmets, bats and softcore baseballs.  All players will need a glove.

Each session will be divided into two parts.  The first part of the session will be skills and drills will players will be sent to stations and work on learning baseball fundamentals from FHCBA coaches.  We will then divide the kids into teams and play T-Ball games on both fields.  At this age there are no real teams as we will divide each week based on the number of participants.

We are still in need of additional volunteers to help coach.  Baseball experience is not necessary at this age level as many of the older age group coaches help out.  To volunteer, you must submit an Sexual Offender Registraion (SOR)/Sexual Abuse Clearance form no later than April 10th. These forms are available on the website and can be sent along with payment  in the amount of $5.00 to J. Black, 8 Wilkins Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15221.  Checks should be made payable to FHCBA. 

We also need someone to volunteer to be the assist in coordinating T-Ball this spring.  I will miss a few sessions due to other committments and need someone to help run the session when I'm away.  It is basically opening up the facility, getting the equipment out and setting up the stations as well as helping keep things moving.  If you are interested in doing this please contact me.
